AI-Powered Launch Monitoring

Both the GDS Pro and Spica 3 are equipped with multi-group high-performance chips and the latest AI algorithm model. They provide real-time analysis of 27 data points including club head speed, ball speed, spin, launch angle, carry, and hitting efficiency.

Compatible with GOLFJOY, E6, GSPro, and Creative Golf software. Works with any ball — no special markings required. Precise both indoors and outdoors.

GOLFJOY Intelligence Software

GOLFJOY software provides 29 key golf data points and is built on Unreal Engine 4 for stunning 4K 60fps HDR visuals. Features include golf courses, training modes, real-time match play, and games.

The free GOLFJOY PRO app for mobile and iPad lets you track your performance on the go. A free trial period is included with every PGS package.

Why the GolfJoy PGS?

True all-in-one design: Unlike packages that cobble together parts from different manufacturers, every component in the PGS is designed and tested together by GOLFJOY. The projector is matched to the screen dimensions. The launch monitor is calibrated for the enclosure space. The software is tuned for the hardware. It just works.

Tool-free assembly: The patented spring-snap frame uses high-strength steel poles that click into place with zero tools. No drilling. No wrenches. No frustration. Two people can have the entire enclosure standing in about an hour.

Multi-platform software: While GOLFJOY's own software is impressive with 4K HDR graphics, you're not locked in. Both launch monitors work with E6 Connect, GSPro, and Creative Golf — giving you access to hundreds of courses and different play experiences.

AI-Powered Shot Analysis

Both the GDS Pro and Spica 3 launch monitors are equipped with multi-group high-performance chips running the latest AI algorithms. They don't just track where the ball goes — they analyze 27 data points in real time including club head speed, ball speed, spin rate and axis, launch angle, carry distance, total distance, hitting efficiency, and more.

The GOLFJOY software takes this data and provides meaningful swing analysis with visual feedback to help you actually improve — not just track numbers. Combined with the free GOLFJOY PRO mobile and iPad app, you can review your sessions anywhere.

Setup Tips

Get the best experience from your Personal Golf Simulator:

  1. Level surface: Set up on a flat, level floor for the best ball tracking accuracy and mat stability.
  2. Ceiling clearance: The enclosure is 8.2' tall (standard size). Leave at least 6-8 inches above for ventilation and assembly room — so aim for 9'+ ceilings.
  3. Projector distance: Position your projector at the optimal throw distance recommended in the included guide. The 4K projector is calibrated for the PGS impact screen dimensions.
  4. Lighting: Dimmer rooms produce better projected image quality. If you're in a garage with windows, consider blackout curtains for the sharpest visuals.
  5. Computer placement: Keep your PC close enough for cable runs. All projector cables are included, but shorter distances mean less clutter.
  6. WiFi or Ethernet: A stable internet connection improves software updates, online match play, and GOLFJOY app connectivity.

Safety

Always ensure adequate clearance around your swing zone. Keep children, pets, and spectators away from the hitting area during use. Inspect the impact screen periodically for wear — the front layer should be replaced after approximately 30,000 shots. Secure the enclosure frame on a stable surface to prevent movement during play.

Product FAQs

What exactly comes in the box?

Everything you need to start playing: the complete simulator enclosure with steel frame and 3-layer impact screen, your choice of launch monitor (GDS Pro or Spica 3), a 4K laser projector with all cables, premium dual-zone hitting mat system with putting turf, and access to GOLFJOY software with a free trial period. A Windows computer is the only thing you need to supply.

How long does setup take?

Most people have it fully assembled and ready to play in about 2-3 hours. The steel frame uses a spring-snap design that clicks together without any tools — no wrenches, no screws, no complicated instructions. If you've ever assembled a pop-up tent, you'll feel right at home.

Where can I set this up?

Garage, basement, spare room, backyard, office — really anywhere you have the space. The standard enclosure is 10' (L) × 8.2' (H) × 4.9' (D), so you'll want at least 9-foot ceilings and enough room behind the hitting zone for a full swing. There's also a larger size option if you have more room to work with. Works both indoors and outdoors.

What's the difference between the GDS Pro (P7) and Spica 3 (P8)?

Both track 27 data points and work indoors and outdoors with any standard golf ball. The GDS Pro uses dual high-speed cameras — it's an excellent choice for golfers who want accurate tracking at a great value. The Spica 3 steps up to triple high-speed cameras for even more detailed swing capture. If you're serious about dialing in your mechanics, the Spica 3 gives you that extra level of precision.

What software can I use?

GOLFJOY's own intelligent software renders courses in 4K 60fps HDR using Unreal Engine 4 graphics with training modes, course play, match play, and games. Both launch monitors are also compatible with popular third-party platforms including E6 Connect, GSPro, and Creative Golf — so you have plenty of options. A free GOLFJOY software trial is included, plus the free GOLFJOY PRO mobile and iPad app.

Do I need a special computer?

You'll need a Windows PC (not included) running 64-bit Windows 10 or higher, with at least an Intel i5-10600 processor, an Nvidia GeForce RTX 3050 or better GPU (AMD graphics cards are not currently supported), and 16GB of RAM. If you're unsure about compatibility, reach out to us and we'll help you figure it out.

How accurate is the shot tracking?

The launch monitors are powered by multi-chip AI processing that analyzes club and ball data in real time. They measure club head speed, ball speed, spin rate, launch angle, carry distance, and over 20 additional data points. GOLFJOY builds these monitors specifically for their simulator system, which means the hardware and software are tuned to work together seamlessly.

How durable is the impact screen?

The 3-layer impact screen is rated for approximately 30,000 shots before the front layer needs replacing. Behind the screen, high-density protective padding absorbs impact and reduces sound — so you can swing freely without worrying about disturbing the rest of the house. Replacement front layers are available when the time comes.

What about the hitting mat?

The mat system features a dual-zone surface — a firm standing area and a softer hitting area held together with elastic string. It's rated for 40,000+ swings and is easily replaceable. Artificial turf extends in front of the screen to create a putting surface, giving you a complete experience from driver through putter.

Can more than one person play?

Yes. The software supports multiplayer modes where you can compete against friends and family or play together on the same virtual course. It's great for game nights, parties, or just friendly competition in the garage.

What's the warranty?

GOLFJOY covers the product with a 1-year warranty (excludes consumable items like the hitting mat surface and impact screen front layer). For any questions about warranty coverage or support, contact us directly and we'll get you sorted out.

What courses are available?

GOLFJOY's software includes a selection of high-end golf courses depending on your membership level, with options ranging from 2 to 25 courses. Additional courses can be purchased separately. If you're using third-party software like GSPro or E6, you'll have access to their full course libraries as well — GSPro alone has over 200 courses.
