Carl's HotShot™ Golf Mat is built with a high-density synthetic turf surface engineered for indoor simulator use. The fibers are designed to strike the right balance between softness and realism — forgiving enough to protect your joints during long sessions, yet firm enough to deliver honest ball-strike feedback.
Unlike generic mats, the HotShot is anti-fatigue, easy on the joints, and built to last. The modular design lets you replace just the hitting insert strip when it wears out — extending the life of the mat without replacing the entire surface.
Hitting Insert Options
The HotShot system includes a choice of three hitting insert strips, each crafted in-house in Milton, Wisconsin:
- Standard Insert — Classic turf feel, versatile for all shot types and skill levels
- Foam Divot Strip — Compressed foam base that simulates a real turf divot feel on contact
- Gel Divot Strip — Premium gel-infused insert with the most realistic divot sensation and added cushioning
All three strips fit seamlessly into every HotShot mat size. They can also be installed into other mats or flooring systems approximately 1¾" tall.
Available Sizes
The HotShot mat is available in four sizes to fit any simulator bay or practice space:
- 4'x5' — Compact offset hitting, ideal for tight spaces
- 5'x8' — Mid-size offset hitting, the most popular choice

Optional Non-Slip Rubber Base
Add Carl's Non-Slip Rubber Base for an extra layer of cushioning underfoot that also keeps the mat firmly in place during your swing. The base reduces joint stress during long practice sessions and prevents mat creep on hard floors.
The rubber base is available in sizes matching each mat and is sold as an optional add-on. It's especially recommended for players who practice for extended periods or stand on hard concrete or tile floors.

- Store the mat flat or loosely rolled — avoid tight folding to prevent crease lines

Returns & Support
Returns are accepted within 30 days of delivery in like-new, unused condition with original packaging. Mats that show signs of use (hitting marks, wear on insert strips) are not eligible for return.
Carl's HotShot mats carry no manufacturer warranty. For missing or damaged parts, contact us at team@golfingsim.com.
Shipping & delivery
We ship across the contiguous United States, plus select destinations in Canada and Mexico. Alaska and Hawaii are excluded. Carl's Place items ship from Wisconsin — about 3 business days production plus transit. Larger orders may arrive in several shipments — we'll send tracking for each.
Returns & support
Carl's Place impact screens, enclosure kits and mats carry no manufacturer warranty — ball marks, fading and stretching are normal and expected. Inspect and inventory your order within 30 days of delivery, then send us photos and your order number and we'll troubleshoot missing or damaged parts.
