VTrack Launch Monitor

VTrack tracks from above using two stereoscopic cameras with AI vision, capturing up to 1,800 frames per second.

Because the cameras look down on the hitting area rather than across it, one installation covers right- and left-handed players without being moved, and the view of impact stays clear through the whole bag.

The manufacturer advertises 23 ball, club and flight data points. The parameter lists below are as supplied by Carl's Place.

Ball data: ball speed, launch angle, launch direction, back spin, side spin, total spin and spin axis.

Club data: club speed, club path, face angle, face-to-path, attack angle, dynamic loft, smash factor, horizontal impact point and vertical impact point.

Calculated flight data: carry distance, total distance, run, apex height, flight time, shot curvature and side distance, and landing angle.

Flight figures are calculated rather than directly measured. Manufacturer-listed analysis time is 200 to 250 milliseconds after impact.

VTrack reads the club without applied stickers or reflective markers, and accepts both regular and marked balls.

Twenty marked balls ship with the unit. A seven-color ready indicator signals when the monitor is set for the next shot, which helps keep order when several players are rotating through a bay.

The native VTrack software is included and provides a driving range and shot analysis, with side and overhead views of the flight path plus a review of the club's contact with the ball.

The manufacturer lists compatibility with GSPro, E6 Connect and E6 Apex.

Ceiling fixings suited to your own structure are not included. If your ceiling is drywall rather than solid substrate, you will need appropriate anchors.

Mount type: overhead ceiling mount.

Floor to ceiling: the manufacturer lists a requirement of 106 to 122 inches (8 feet 10 inches to 10 feet 2 inches).

Screen to hitting zone: Carl's Place recommends at least 120 inches (10 feet).

Room width: a width of 213 inches (17 feet 9 inches) is recommended. This is a recommendation, not a hard minimum.

Hitting zone: published dimensions differ between sources, so we are not going to quote a figure we cannot stand behind. Contact us and we will confirm the usable area before you fix your mat position.

Check clearance for every golfer's full swing, not just the shortest one.

VTrack connects to a Windows PC over Gigabit Ethernet. This is a wired connection.

Manufacturer-listed PC requirements:

• Dual-core processor at 3.0 GHz or higher; Intel Core i5 or AMD Ryzen recommended
• At least 16 GB RAM
• Gigabit Ethernet interface

Free disk space: published requirements differ between the manufacturer and Carl's Place. Ask us to confirm the current figure before you specify or build a PC.

GSPro, E6 Connect and E6 Apex may need a more capable PC than the native VTrack software. The minimums above are not a claim of simulator-ready performance in third-party titles.
